2nd May 2005

Musicians, poets and friends gathered last night at the 12 Bar Club in London to pay once again tribute to Brinsley Sheridan. Some came from Ireland, Canada and France. I did my first ever gig in London at the 12 Bar when Brinsley was the promoter back in 1999. He's been a constant presence in my life and my music ever since. For the occasion Claudio Corona and his accordion accompanied me on some of Brinsley's favourites, namely Don't Think Twice It's Alright, 1952 Vincent Black Lightning, She Belongs To Me and what's probably Brinsley's most beautiful song, Dream Machine. Many the highlights of the night, including Roddy Frame, Victoria Mosley and John Citizen. For more details please visit http://brinsley.blogspot.com/!!!
