10th March 2004
Today we start the journey Downunder
for the tour of Australia and New Zealand. Flying via Hong Kong
and onto Melbourne it will be a very long start to a very
exciting journey. From now until getting back at the end of
April Davide will be travelling thousands of miles, performing
at over 20 venues throughout Australia and New Zealand,
plus TV and radio appearances along the way! It will
include some very intimate performances to some huge festivals,
and there will be performances in amphitheatres in the
rainforest, to some in the middle of the Red Centre. Check out
the dates page to see where Davide will be, and come along if
you can, otherwise maybe drop by online for someof the live
webcast performances. More news from along the road soon... (L.B.)

17/18th March 2004
It was a pleasure to be invited into the studios of 3MDR and
PBSfm, both great
radio stations in the Melbourne area. As
well as chat about Davide and the tour, it gave him a chance to
play some tunes live on air as previews to The Boite and BAD
Folk gigs. (L.B.)

Davide was invited to start his day at the Frankston Guitar
Festival off by being on a panel of judges for 'The Young
Guitarist of the Year'. Later in the day he performed as part of
the 'Up Close and Personal' concerts, and thoroughly enjoyed
being in guitarist paradise at the expo, with all the various
guitarists, guitars, and equipment from around the world. 'Sortie
20' also featured on a special CD on the front cover of
Australian 'Guitarist' Magazine to tie in with the Frankston
Guitar Festival. (L.B.)

After the journey along the Great Ocean Road taking in
wonderful sights along the way such as the 12 Apostles, London
Bridge, and Loch Ard Gorge it made perfect sense for the Cape
Nelson Lightstation to be included in the tour dates. Davide
having the chance to play 'Beyond the Rock of Gibraltar' at the
top of the Lightstation on the morning of the gig made the visit
all the more special, and his audience in the evening were
captured by the suitable surrounds for such songs too. (L.B.)
28th March 2004
After watching the sun go down at Uluru the gig at 'Sails in
the Desert' at the Ayers Rock Resort was a perfect finish to a
very special day. (L.B.)

7th April 2004
Visitors to Melbourne Rialto Tower were certainly excited by
the presence of the live radio broadcast from the top of the
city last night. Davide soaked up the birds eye view of the city
and leased the audience by playing a couple of tracks from the
album. Next stop Sydney for the show at The Boatshed in Manly. (L.B.)

Never Never Creek in the Promised Land in Queensland
Australia was a great spot to warm up for the Cool Creek Cafe

fantastic show than at the rivers edge in the middle of a
rainforest surrounded by nature and all it's wonderful sounds. (L.B.)

The first show of the New Zealand leg of the tour Downunder
was at The Bunker in Devonport, Auckland. It was a great venue -
a real bunker half way up Mount Victoria. (L.B.)

The audience at the Harbour Light Theatre in Lyttelton,
